My name is Kyzandrha Zarate, and thanks to Jordyn Jackson, I re-discovered this amazing charity.

The holidays are here and rather than simply planning what to cook & what gifts I still need to buy for others, I thought I'd do my part in helping those in desperate need...

What is one thing you have always had readily available to you that you could not live without? Water. A billion people in the world are living without clean water. Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. Millions of kids & their moms walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

When I found out that $20 will give 1 person clean drinking water for 20 years, it made me realize how much we can really do to make a change in people's lives.

The holidays - a time for family, comfort and love. A time for giving.

This holiday season, I want to give more than gifts that fit in boxes. I want to give people life.

My mission is to raise $250 by the end of the year. On December 31, donations to my campaign will be sent to local partners in the field so construction and drilling can begin. 100% of every penny I raise will go directly to the water projects. And every project is "proved" using GPS technology and photos and put on Google Earth. Together, we'll be able to see the impact we've made.
