$500 gives 25 people just like you and me the right to clean water. They are no different from any of us, yet they've been dealt this terribly cruel hand and do not have access to a basic right of life. We turn out faucets on every day, wash our faces, our hands, our hair, our dishes, play in it, fill our swimming pools with it, and sometimes just let it run down the drain, yet others will go their entire lives without ever coming in contact with pure water. To me, there is no question that donating $20 or more (the equivalent of a shirt or pair of jeans) to someone who lives without clean water is a just cause.
