So this year, I'm giving my birthday up.
Most people who are turning 21 ask for bottles of wine or drinks at the bar. I, however, want this birthday to mean something and for it to be able to make a difference in the lives of others.

This year, I'm asking that people donate $21 to bring clean drinking water to an entire community. (Please keep in mind you can donate any amount of money, from $1-a bazillion and every dollar counts!) In order to do that, we'll need to raise approximately $5,000. We have until 3/31 to raise the money and I think we can do it :) How awesome would it be to know that you contributed to giving 250 people uncontaminated drinking water and a sustainable well? Nearly 30,000 people die every week from diseases contracted from unsafe drinking water. Your contribution can drastically change a family's life.

Not only does 100% of all donations go directly toward water projects, but approximately 18 months after this campaign ends, charity: water will show us where and how every dollar we raised ended up helping in the field. We'll see GPS coordinates, photos and more details about the communities we've impacted.

So, tell you moms, sisters, brothers, dads, uncles, aunts, cousins...Anyone you can think of and lets build a well! :)
