goal
On September 11th, 2012, I'm turning 33.
Usually, my thoughts race to the fun I will have on my birthday, or the fact that I'm getting one year older.
I am lucky.
Recently, at the World Domination Summit in Portland, Scott Harrison shared that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
So me turning 33 isn't a big deal anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.
I'm asking for my family and friends to help me by donating my age, $33 (or more), to charity: water -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations.
Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $1,000 by my birthday, 9/11. Please join me to make this birthday count.
Thanks for putting so much hard work towards a worthy cause.
This is a great cause!
Happy Birthday KB!
