Christmas is one of my favourite times of year - but, so many people forget about the real reason of christmas - Jesus Christ - and begin to fill it with so many material things. Shopping malls are one of the busiest places at Christmas time, and don't get me wrong, giving is an amazing thing. But in such a materialistic world, full of "stuff" we don't even need, how much of the material things that people are giving and receiving is truly worth anything?

This christmas, I've decided to boycott all of that and help people somewhere else in the world who are without WATER, receive a gift that is far more pleasing than any material item I would ever receive.

I'm giving up my christmas, and just asking those who would have bought me gifts, to instead donate that money to help me build a well. I'm also asking others to join me and give up your gifts. 100% of the money raised here goes directly to the water projects.

Between now and Christmas I hope to raise $1000 in my charity: water campaign. Any little amount that you can give will bring me one step closer to giving more people, more clean water: a necessity we so often take for granted in North America.
Jesus sacrificed his LIFE for us, this is the least I can do.
