Since 1996, I have made a simple choice each day that has changed my life immeasurably for the better. December 31 will be 20 years.
To celebrate this milestone, I have decided to raise a dollar for every day since the end of 1996 ($7,304) to donate to charity: water by December 31st.
charity: water is a non-profit organization working to bring clean and safe drinking water to the 663 million people who lack access.
charity: water fundraises separately for its operating expenses, which means every dollar donated goes directly to clean water projects.
$7,304 raised will help provide clean drinking water for 243 people in the developing world, protecting them from water-borne disease, and empowering them to improve their lives and uplift their communities.
