I'm so excited to be running the 2022 NYC Marathon to fundraise for charity: water!
charity: water is an unbelievable organization that has been fundraising and working with local partners to combat the water crisis since 2006. Not only does the water crisis have immediate impacts on health and sanitation, but it also has downstream effects on education and economic empowerment, particularly for women and children.
I interned with charity: water in 2016, and I am so excited for the opportunity to raise awareness of the water crisis and fundraise for charity: water's projects through the NYC Marathon. To join in the effort, I am donating $1 per mile I run in training.
