Dear Friends-
Tomorrow is my birthday...and yet today, I was laid off from my job of 17 years which really sucks.
What is even more terrible is that today (in my spare time) I learned that 800 million people still live without clean water so why should I complain about not having a job? I may not have a job tomorrow but I do have access to clean water. I also have food, a roof over my head, and a family and friends that care for and support me.
This is the land of opportunity and I will have plenty. Many others are nowhere near as fortunate.
So I encourage you to give here or give somewhere else if you feel compelled to, but make a REAL difference for someone else because nothing would make me happier on my birthday!
