On October 7th, I will turn 40! Once again, I am 'giving up' my birthday in order to bring clean water to the world! Please read below for details...
Most of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink & access to clean water everywhere -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
WE can do something to help! 'Giving up my birthday' means that, I ask that you please consider donating to my birthday campaign. You can give in the amount of the age I'm turning ($40) or give ANY amount. Every single cent helps.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects for people in need, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
Over the years, you (my friends and family) have helped give nearly $4,600 via my birthday campaigns. You are amazing, and I look forward to seeing what we can do to help this year!
