How many of us turn a knob and fill a tall glass with ice cold water everyday?? How many of us enjoy wonderfully tasting water from the tap??? I know all my friends back home in South Carolina do!!! It wasn't until I moved to Iowa and took a big huge gulp of nasty tasting tap water that I knew my life would forever be changed.
Never again would I take for granted deliciously tasting tap water....why? Because I now (being the water loving drinker that I am) have to buy bottled water to get drinkable good tasting water. And that my friends...isn't even the tradegy in this story. The real sad part isn't that I'm inconvenienced when it comes to one of lifes basic necessities....the sad part is that there are people in this world that go without...period.
And not just without one of lifes basic necessities...but without many of lifes basic necessities. Once a person realizes this tragic truth....you can't forget it....you can't go back...you must do something about it...you must change it!

That's why this year for my Birthday...it isn't about celebrating me...it's about helping others who are in need....not because we can...but because we should! So donate to my cause.... help me reach my goal...and help me celebrate helping people who need our help!
