Over 5 years ago I learned about charity water when a 9 year girl gave up her birthday to help provide clean drinking water to children in developing countries. Rachel Beckwith died before reaching her goal in a car accident. She inspired me to give up my 8th birthday. When I learned about children walking miles to get drinking water that was so filthy dirty it broke my heart. We take so much for granted. So today in honor of Rachel I want ask for my birthday wish donations of 13$. Giving back is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and I hope one day I can inspire other young people to do the same. Thank you in advance!! This birthday is going to be the best one yet!!

Just found out when my wife was 10, and her sister 8 their chore was to walk every night after school to get water for their home. Thai children did it gladly for their parents. One of the many reasons I like being an Expat here in Thailand.
