Most of us live pretty sweet lives but this year I realized there are millions of kids around the world who don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I've decided to pledge my Birthday to fund a campaign for Charity Water. I'm asking all friends and family not to give me anything and instead donate to this campaign. I'm only asking for my age in dollars but you can still step up even for just a $1.

Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped (an awesome online charity model by the way!).

You'll feel awesome for doing some real good for people who without water can't really look forward to much of a future.
