I first found out about mycharitywater on a facebook link. It is such an easy and effective way to raise money for a very important cause. Instead of getting me a birthday present this year, please donate here instead.
I have had a very blessed life. This is the least I can do to help out. It hurts to think that 1 out of 8 people on the planet don't have clean, reliable drinking water---the most basic human need. It's super easy to donate, and you can give as little or as much as you like. My goal is to raise $5,000 dollars.
Clean drinking water doesn't only improve health, it improves economic status and overall safety of a family/community. Children, especially girls, who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity, are able to attend school or work. And thats just the start!
