2.4 million people won't make it to their next birthday due to unclean water. Millions of women and children have to walk hours each day to get water from muddy ponds and rivers. And much of that water is infested with bacteria, parasites or leeches.
4,500 children die every day from water-related illnesses. This number should be 0, but it's not.
This year, Megan and I are fundraising for charity: water on behalf of our ten-week-old newborn daughter Emma Elizabeth. We're celebrating her birth on behalf of the 2.4 MILLION people who <b>wont</b> make it to their next birthday due to unclean water. Our hope is to help save some of those people - to give them a chance to live another year by providing them with something we take for granted: clean water.
