Hello Everyone,
A million and one thanks for last year. With your help we raised more than $1100.00 and gave water to over 50 people! These projects are on-going in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia amongst others. Thank you all so so much for making my dreams last year come true. This year, I'm 30 and I am asking you to please help me make a difference. On the 29th of May 2011, I'm turning 30.
At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting. But then I remembered that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water with health consequences; So I'm not scared of turning 30 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before. I'm asking for $30 from everyone I know - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater projects in developing nations. My goal is to raise $500 by my birthday. Please help give clean water to more people.
I love you all and many many Thanks.
Love,
Folakemi
