As I become more educated and aware about the lack of basic necessities in the United States and globally, I continue to gain greater motivation to seeing this harsh reality change. It is no wonder how cycles of inequality perpetuate when the most fundamental means of survival are lacking.
The stark lack of resources is why I am personally driven to support organizations such as charity: water. If everyone made a small effort towards giving to those less fortunate, drastic changes would be possible and globally we could achieve basic needs for all.
None of this should be taken as a way to guilt you into making a donation. Simply something to occasionally keep in mind when doing laundry, taking a shower, or getting your eight glasses a day.
