Be part of the CHANGE!
I discovered Charity: Water through PBS and think it is a wonderful organization to be a part of. I know we all have our own responsibilities and priorities and might feel we really dont have anything to give. With a mortgage payment, insurance, car payment, and the list goes on and on, you might feel you just don't have anything you can give at this time. But just imagine that $20.00 could give one person clean water for 20 years. A total of 1.1 Billion people don't have access to clean water, that's 1 out of 6 of us. I encourage you to research charity water and consider helping.
Now, my goal is to raise $5,000 to build a well in a developing nation. And the super, awesome, cool thing about charity: water is that they spend 100% of the money I raise directly on the water projects. Even better, when projects are complete, every dollar is tied to a village and all the wells are posted on Google Earth.
