After almost six years together, Blake & I have decided to marry.

We officially tied the knot on August 27th, at our downtown courthouse. We chose this date as a way to celebrate my {Diana} grandparents, who were married on the same date, over 65 years ago.

As many of you know, giving back has always been so important to the two of us. Back when we had only been dating a few months, we raised over $3,000 and spent a month in Haiti, helping to rebuild after the earthquake.

Since then, we have worked hard to donate our time & energy to causes that are making the world a better place.

We found a really amazing wedding ring company {Do Amore} that provides two people with clean water for life, with each ring purchased. Our rings allow clean access to water for four people for the rest of their lives!

In lieu of money or gifts, we are asking you to make a donation to charity:water. We KNOW that with your help, we can surpass our $2,000 goal! When we meet our goal, we will be able to provide 67 people with clean water! {And that's SO cool!}

Blake and I are so very lucky to live in a safe neighborhood, with good jobs, a warm roof over our heads and a dog that hogs the covers. Because of this, we ask that you help us celebrate our marriage by doing something amazing for people around the world!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 1,400 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
