I have known about charity: water for a few years now so lets hit the facts real quick. There is about 703 million people that live day to day without clean water. They walk miles everyday in extreme weather for a basic human necessity that you and I take for granted daily.

And then there's someone like me who voluntarily signs up to run a half marathon for fun. I'll have water available at each mile while people all over the world die bc of the lack of it. And that contrast got me thinking that I need to do something. So it finally hit me - this is how I can help!

I've created this fundraiser to run with a purpose! My goal is to raise $10,000 from now until race day (Sep 29th). I thought what a neat idea if everyone could donate the milage $13.10. We will need 764 donators to make that happen so please share share share! And be confident in knowing that 100% of every dollar will go directly towards bringing clean water to those who need it most. Charity: water will even report back with details of where your money went, and how it's helping :)
