Here's the simple fact: more people die of waterborne diseases than they do of war.

Here's another: we can change that.

Instead of birthday gifts, I'm asking you to join me to help give clean water to people who don't have it. We can save money by just drinking water at my meals and make a donation towards building wells and restoring communities with the stuff we save.

Let's face it: real change isn't going to happen in this world until we decide to give something up. Real help isn't convenient; something in our lives has to change. We forget that our daily actions have consequences on people not just around the world, but around the corner. But the good news is that we have the ability to make a difference in somebody's life just as readily.
