I'm turning 30!
At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting.
But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.
So I'm not scared of turning 30 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.
I'm asking everyone I know (or may not know! ;-) )to help me raise a total of $2500- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $2500 by March 7, 2010.
For every individual/organization that donates I will tweet and/or share your name/product on Facebook. Those who donate $300 will be tweeted daily for a week!

A special shout out to Jack Dorsey, the Founder of Twitter (@jack) for giving me the idea. I pledged to his campaign for his 33rd birthday!
Please consider helping me. This is one of the greatest causes I could think to donate!
Happy Holidays to all!
