There is still time to help and much to be done!

Although my birthday has now come and gone, the lack of access to clean water has not disappeared and I urge each one of you to consider joining me in my efforts to help make this, the Year of Water, something everyone can celebrate....and so I continue to reach out to everyone I know to ask a very special favor of all of you; a favor that results in an incredible, tremendous gift....

I would like to ask you to participate in my second annual Charity:water Birthday campaign. I don't want presents or gifts for myself,... instead my biggest wish for my Birthday is to help make a difference in the lives of others. I need your help to do that.

For so many of us, access to clean, safe drinking water is simply an expected part of our standard of living and yet there are nearly a billion people on the planet who do not have that kind of access. Together, we can help change that!

This year, all of the money raised from my Birthday campaign will go to fund water projects in India. In fact, because the operating costs of charity:water are funded through a group of private donors, 100% of all the donated funds are used for water projects! That means every penny we give actually helps someone in need!!

As the projects are completed, there will be photos and GPS coordinates provided so that we can see the impact of our efforts. The icing on the cake, if you will... ;)

Won't you join me? I am asking for an age matched donation of $45 but ANY amount helps-whether it be a few dollars or anything more. Please do not be put off by a dollar amount. Simply give what you can- it's the thought and heart and the effort that counts. Little by little, we can give the gift of water to those in need.
