Last year, I raised $1,094 for my birthday, gave clean water to 54 people / 10 families. I'm aiming to double that this year - would love your help again.

Here's my elevator pitch from last year:

Many of you know that my superhero alter ego is Aqua Man. Some of you have even witnessed me nearly single handedly chug a gallon of water.

I love water and love to be hydrated. And yet, I, like you, don't appreciate what a luxury this is. Well, guess what, at least 1 BILLION people on this planet do... as they do not have access to clean water.

Let me put that into perspective for you: 1 out of every 8 people don't have water. Water. Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families. Please watch the accompanying 3 minute video.

So this year, I've decided to give my birthday up and instead of having you buy me gifts, drinks, or food, I'm asking for $33 or more from everyone I know that will 100% go to building freshwater projects for people in developing nations.
