Every year on Cameron's birthday, we try to do a "project" or something good/charitable in leu of having a traditional birthday bash. Not because he doesn't deserve a total blow out of a birthday, but because his birthday is so close to Christmas AND it's so much better to give than to receive.
After spending a few weeks in Africa last year, I really got a glimpse of the reality of the world's water crisis. It is one of the most necessary elements to life, yet if not safe, can be one of the main causes of illness and death. charity: water uses 100% of every dollar donated to fund clean water projects.
This year, we hope to raise $5,000 for charity: water, but we will not be able to do it without your help or encouragement!
