Oct 2nd is my 29th birthday, and like last year, I'm giving up my birthday for charity: water.

I want to do something special and a bit more meaningful: working with my friends to bring clean drinking water to a village in Orissa, India. Last year we raised over $5,000 to build a well for a village in Rwanda, which brought clean water for over 75 people.

We grow older each year, and have been blessed with good health, while 800 million people on this planet still don't have access to clean drinking water.

Please give $29 or $290 for my 29th!

It’s my goal to raise $10,000 this year. This will provide clean water to 200 people!

What's really cool is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water project costs in the field, and charity: water will prove every single dollar. When the project we help fund is complete, they'll send us a digital completion report with GPS coordinates and photos of the community we helped.

I can't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday than by giving the gift of clean water to people in need.
