Nothing more meaningful than to say I love you by making a difference for other people who less fortunate than we are.
That photo of us was taken over 26 years ago with the back drop of Lake Geneva, on a trip that included visiting Evian, famous for its pure, clean water.
Making through 26 years of being married may seem hard in these modern times, but having clean drinking in Rwanda is even harder, if not impossible for some.
In Rwanda, women and children walk for hours every day just to get dirty water from rivers. It is far from Evian water.
So we decided to celebrate our love by doing something different.
Just $260 can change someone's life there, and 100% of the money we raise will directly fund charity: water projects in the field. When those projects are complete, we'll all get photos and GPS coordinates to see the lives we changed together.
We hope to raise $10 for every year of marriage.
Please join us in celebrating our wedding anniversary with the gift of clean water to Rwanda
Happy Anniversary and thank you for the inspiration and tools to connect and give!
Congrats Beth!
Congrats on 26 years. I'm 19 years into my marriage. What a ride it is, right? Lovers, partners, business associates, friends, angry grumpy trolls who woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Huge congrats, Beth...Smon
Congrats Beth! You should write a book on marriage too! Book #3 maybe? ;-)
