It is crazy.
That we can just turn on a faucet and cold water comes pouring out endlessly. Yet, just halfway across the world young girls are taken out of school to walk 3 miles each way to fetch water everyday. In just Africa alone 4 Billion hours are spent walking to collect water. Women and girls are at a higher risk of sexual assault and harassment.

It is crazy.
We won't even step in manure. Yet, kids halfway across the world have to drink water contaminated with E. Coli, Salmonella and Hepatitis A. 90% of the 30,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions are children under five years old.

It is crazy.
I am setting out to raise 10,000 dollars to buy a well for village in only 36 days. But, something as simple as water should not be a luxury item. My placement at Best Hope Nursery school in Karanga Village, Tanzania is the reason I am so passionate about this well. I was thanked endlessly for sending around a bottle of clean water for each child to take a sip. The way these kids cherished that one sip is forever ingrained in my mind and heart. Although this Well will be placed in Tigray, Ethiopia this well will be named after the School that opened my eyes to HUGE crisis in the world.
