This has been on my heart for a while and I've decided to give it a go this Christmas season!

My goal is to raise enough money for a well to be built by charity:water so that a community in a developing nation can have access to clean water.

There are 1,000,000,000 people around the world without access to clean water and every 15 seconds, a child dies from a disease they got from drinking dirty water.

Charity:water is an organization that works to raise money to build wells in developing nations around the world. 100% of the money raised goes towards the water projects for communities, schools, and hospitals and clinics. The cost for building a well is $5000 and it is enough to give water to a community of an average of 250 people.

JUST $1 IS ENOUGH TO GIVE A PERSON CLEAN WATER FOR A WHOLE YEAR.

Fundraising campaigns have a limit of 3 months, after which the money is put to work.

When the water project you helped fund is completed in 12 - 18 months from end of the campaign, they contact you and everyone who contributed to your campaign and send you pictures and the GPS coordinates :)
