COUNTDOWN: 0 DAYS!!!!

Hi friends and family,

23 days from now I'll be reaching a new milestone in life--my 23rd birthday.

This year, I chose to donate my birthday to charity: water's September campaign. All donations will help the country of Rwanda gain access to clean, safe drinking water.

As many of you may or may not know, I spent a good portion of my senior year at NYU interning at charity: water on their Digital Community team. I learned so much from my supervisors, Paull and Merry, and charity: water has taught me that you can be a thought leader/innovator and do good in the world at the same time.

Every once in a while I spend time in charity: water's office volunteering. It reminds me that every person has something to offer to another. Every dollar counts and charity: water's 100% model guarantees that all of your money goes towards water projects.

I would be extremely touched if you celebrated my charity: water campaign instead of my birthday this year.
