Everyday we take for granted our ability to walk up to our sinks and pour a glass of water; a privilege that 800 million people today don't have. 3.4 million people die every year of contaminated water related diseases, some children don't make it past their 5th birthday.

I would like to see this change, and while this donation will not completely enforce that change, it's a step in the right direction. So, I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, 'charity: water' will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
