This year I'm celebrating my birthday differently. I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water.

I have never wanted anything for my birthday more than this. After learning about how clean water can change a life, I was moved to do something. Too many people die every day simply because they don't have water - something that most of us take for granted.

Women walk for miles every day to fetch water, but unfortunately, it's full of bacteria and waterborne diseases. Children sacrifice their education to fetch water. Water changes everything.

So with your help and by God's grace, my goal is $2,000. It's a wild amount, but it's not impossible. 100% of any amount you donate will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
