Every day, thousands of children die from water-related illnesses.

Naomi just turned six but millions of kids around the world don't live to see their sixth birthdays because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water.

In Ethiopia (Naomi's birth country) clean water isn't always readily available. Every day women walk for hours in search of water to bring back to their villages and often that water isn't clean. Let's help change that. In lieu of gifts, please consider donating to our campaign. Though we can't request that a well be built in Wolayta, Ethiopia specifically, charity: water will direct our donations to areas of great need and show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). This means we will know the locations and names of the communities we helped. Rest assured that charity:water guarantees that every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. It may not benefit Wolayta but providing clean water to anyone in need is worthwhile.
