Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!

Millions of kids around the world don't see their 5th birthday because they don't have clean water. I’d like to donate my birthday this year to this organization which helps to change that one well at a time. Instead of birthday gifts and to honor my birthday or just to help others, I’d like to ask my friends and family to donate to my campaign.

Charity Water works to bring wells to communities without clean water around the world, and to make sure that people in the community learn what they need to do to keep the well in good working order. 100% of your donation goes to building the wells. (You can read about that on their site.)

The wells that Charity Water builds brings clean and healthy water to communities who are often struggling to get what dirty contaminated water they do. And having the wells improves the quality of life in other ways, particularly for the women and children in a community. No longer do they have to walk miles each way to get water and then make multiple trips each day, so that time is freed up for education and taking care of families and other pursuits to improve the quality of their family’s life.

This September (and running through the end of the year), Charity Water is bringing water to 100,000 people in the Sahel region. Please watch the video below to see why this is so important!
