i've spent much of my life forgetting how lucky i have it. now that there's a babe growing in my belly, the idea that any other little babe like him could have a less than perfect life due to something as fixable as drinking water .... i can't stand the thought!
i turn 34 on June 13th, and rather than celebrating in the traditional American ways, i'm asking folks around me - friends, family, knitters, strangers even - to help me raise money so that other little babes like my own can have a great start to their lives, thanks to clean drinking water!
and because i'm a knitter, i'm offering up the following sweet deal - when you donate, i'll give you one of my knitting patterns for free!
