As my 26th year quickly approaches, I have decided to give up my birthday once again to charity: water! The reason this is my favorite organization to work with is because 100% of what you donate goes straight to the field, where you can track how your donation is directly changing lives in real time. Please consider donating even $5 to this cause and help me reach my goal of $1100, which is what I raised 2 years ago for my 24th birthday campaign. 663 million people worldwide live without clean water. Lets make sure everyone in the world has access to the one thing most of our country greatly takes for granted.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
