We are a group of 19 8th graders who are driven to make a difference by raising a total of $5000 this school year. We hope to accomplish this through fundraisers that we have planned for the year and donations to our campaign from family and friends as we pledge to give up gifts for our birthdays and Christmas. It seems like such a small sacrifice for such an important cause. We are shocked by the fact that 1 in 6 people do not have access to clean water, something that we take for granted! We will not rest until we have raised enough money to drill a well, so please give what you can - just $20 will help one person get clean water for 20 years.
