Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. I want to help change that!

My birthday is almost here. I don't usually make a big deal about it, but this year I'm especially thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. I know that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. I could not imagine my life at all like that, being the water junkie that I am. We can all help change that.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. If you don't know my age, donate what you think it is ;) Every penny counts and ALL of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
