Hi I'm Alessandro, I am seven years old and I love playing Soccer! But I can't imagine playing soccer without having water to keep me going, but you wanna talk about crazy?
663 million people on this planet don’t have access to clean water. That means 1 out of 11 kids like me don't have clean drinking water so the can play soccer like me.
What’s NOT crazy is doing something to help. So I joined charity: water’s September Campaign this year and I'm asking all my friends to give for goals.
I'm on two teams Wilton Travel Team (U9 Gold) and Everton America (U8 White) and I would like you to give charity:water $10 (or more) every time I score a goal.
To give you a sense of how many goals I might score, so far in all the games I have played in September I am averaging a goal per game and so between both teams I have scored a total of 6 goals so far, so you would be committing $60.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects for people in need, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
You can give a little or you can give a lot. The craziest thing we can do is nothing.
Way to go Allesandro!
Proud of you buddy!!
Keep up the great work Allessadro!!
