I AM THIRSTY
The picture above was me right around my first birthday. I have had many since then but none so important as turning 43. This year I want to give up my birthday for those that are thirsty.
As my birthday is right around Easter, I have been reflecting on the words Jesus said on the cross, "I'm Thirsty." This statement is a call to action and demands a response. If you were standing in front of me and I said I was thirsty, you would immediately feel obligated to help me quench their thirst by offering me some water.
There are nearly a billion people in the world without access to clean drinking water and they are all crying out right now, "I'm Thirsty" will you hear their cry and help me provide them with access to clean water?
Here is how you can help, at minimum give $43 in honor of our my birthday, but I know many of you can do more so be generous and give an amount you can be proud of!
Thank you
Gian-Carlo
