We have decided to start a fundraiser to fully fund a deep bore water well, which will provide clean water for at least 500 villagers in Ethiopia.

We hope this inspires some of you to think generously, if you can afford to, and donate to this specific project. If it's not financially a good time, that's ok, as we had to wait a long time before we could really get involved on this level again. So please, think about what your grateful for, and give out of your abundance. We both really appreciate it, but the ones that really really appreciate it are like the little ones in the above photo. You will be bringing smiles to the faces of hundreds of our long distance brothers and sisters.

If you're like me, you don't spend too much time thinking about water -- it's everywhere we go. When we're thirsty, we flip a handle or push a button. When we're dirty, we twist a shower knob. When our garden needs watering, when our pasta needs to be boiled, when we use the bathroom -- water is just an arm’s length away.

But, in many developing countries, women and children walk for hours, up and down mountains, just to collect water that can make them really sick, and can even cause a painful slow death. Its not all about health and disease though. The search for water prevents children from going to school and getting an education. It also occupies women's time so much they can't work to earn an income. By receiving a nearby source for safe clean water, children are free to go to school, women have more time to earn an income, and everyone is healthy! No illnesses from the bacteria and disease which is commonly found in open water sources.

Help us play a small part in solving the water crisis --

100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.

None of our money will go to fundraising, advertising, or administrative expenses. 100% goes to the actual project.
