This year, I'm giving up my 8th birthday and instead of asking for presents, I want my friends and family to donate $8 to help build a well for people who don't have clean water. It bothers me that kids my age get really sick and can die from drinking dirty water. Other kids can't even go to school because they have to spend their time walking miles to get water that's not even safe to drink.
My birthday wish this year is that EVERYONE have clean water.
