On September 15, I'm turning 27.
And damn it, I'm not ready to be that old.
But did you know that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday? And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.
So I'm not upset about turning 27 anymore. In fact, I'm celebrating my birthday in a BIG way!
This birthday, I only want one thing. $27. That's only $1 for each year of my life. I'm asking for $27 from each of you - and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Can't give $27? Give $5, Give $1. Every penny, every nickel counts.
Best part? Every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth. You get to see the results of your help.
My goal is to raise $1,350 by my birthday, September 15th. That's 50 of you who care about me enough to make my birthday wish come true.
I don't want stuff. I don't need anything. But these people do. And we can help.
