Two years ago we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro raising almost US$30,000 for Charity:Water. The amazing and real difference our friends donations made to communities in Africa is utterly inspiring. Your generosity has built clean water facilities in 3 separate villages, literally transforming hundreds of peoples lives.

We want you to help us to do more... In one week, we are climbing Mount Stanley. It's Africa's third highest peak and we've chosen it because it is a more remote and difficult climb.

DID YOU KNOW?
There are one billion people on the planet who do not have clean water? This equates to 1 in 8 people in the world without access to the most basic of human needs. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of diseases and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Unfortunately, the majority of its victims are children.

100%:
It’s important to know 100% of donations go straight towards the direct project costs of building a well. This is accomplished by the donations of committed partners that have elected to cover administrative costs so that all other donations can go directly towards project costs. Like last time we've also funded all the costs of the climb.

PROVING THE DIFFERENCE:
Approximately 18 months after our campaign ends, exact GPS coordinates are posted. When used in conjunction with Google Earth, we can locate precisely where our wells have been built. Charity:Water also posts photos and videos of the communities impacted by our contributions, which we look forward to sharing with you!
