You guys. On April 2 I'll be turning 32, and I'd like to do something a little different this year to celebrate.

Usually on my birthday I am surrounded by you crazy kids at my favorite watering hole, where you raise a glass to the fact I have, once again, made it once more around the sun without doing anything too embarrassing*.

But as many of you may know, millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Let's change that.

This year, instead of raising a glass to me, why not help a child get the much-need drinking water that he or she deserves? Every single penny of the money you donate will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

And if that isn't enough to convince you, I also happen to share my birthday with the late Sir Alec Guinness. And oh snap—he's already used his Jedi powers to get you to donate to my campaign. How easy was that?!
