Right now, 1.1 billion people on the planet don't have access to safe, clean drinking water. That's one in six of us. Miss Sixty is partnering with charity: water to help change that.

For Fall Fashion Week, Miss Sixty gave each audience member at the show a charity: water bracelet - representing the gift of clean water. Their total donation was enough to build a well. Once it is built, the well will provide clean, safe drinking water for an entire community in Ethiopia.

Miss Sixty is encouraging customers to join them in supporting charity: water. Help build more wells in Ethiopia. Give water.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER
A WELL IS BUILT?
  CLOSING THE LOOP: PROVING
IT IN GOOGLE EARTH.

After a well is installed, charity: water partners work directly with villagers, teaching them how to maintain and fix their well and hand pump device, while also conducting basic hygiene and sanitation classes.   charity: water proves every well built using photos, video, and GPS coordinates plotted in Google Earth. charity: water staff or volunteers visit the projects on the ground, to monitor and evaluate the work being done.
