- Selected water managers for each project area. Water managers are responsible for operating and maintaining the water system.
- Recruited sales representatives, initiated home visits, and began collecting first payments for reserving water points.
- Started construction in the Ankazomiriotra and Vinaninony areas.
- Formed 4 Water Management Committees to oversee record keeping, maintenance, and fee collection for each water point.
- Constructed 5 latrines and 2 handwashing facilities in schools.
- Introduced the Community-Led Total Sanitation approach in 20 communities to promote safe sanitation practices.
- Conducted rolling baseline and endline surveys with community members benefiting from water points. This data helps measure the program's impact.
- Monitored all completed projects through their service provider model, which responds to water outages within 48 hours, ensuring exceptional functionality for rural water systems.

- Provided hygiene training to 22 of 38 communities, including specific training for water point managers. Communities have also been trained in safe water storage practices and proper handwashing techniques.
- Partnered with respective Mayor’s Offices to meet with Water User Associations (WUAs) in 14 of 21 communities. These meetings help WUAs prepare for their first community accountability meetings, with support from the local government.
