Progress update on work underway in Burkina Faso

  • Provided hygiene training to 22 of 38 communities, including specific training for water point managers. Communities have also been trained in safe water storage practices and proper handwashing techniques.
  • Partnered with respective Mayor’s Offices to meet with Water User Associations (WUAs) in 14 of 21 communities. These meetings help WUAs prepare for their first community accountability meetings, with support from the local government.
